Liar and Spy by Rebecca Stead
A story about spies, games and friendship that will touch your heart! This award-winning book tells the story of Georges (the "s" is silent) as he adjusts to moving, his father's efforts to start a new business, his mother's extra shifts, being picked on at school, and to Safer, a boy who wants his help spying on another resident of their building.

The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colga
This title was suggested by one of the Page Turners, and we are very excited to see what's in store as we read the tale of a former librarian who moves from England to the Scottish Highlands. Expect an amazing setting, charming characters, and, according to Booklist, "a cheering tale [that] celebrates the many ways books bring people together."

    March 27
The Twelve Lives of Samuel Hawley by Hannah Tinti
This novel was described by the website Popsugar as "one part coming-of-age, one part mystery, and all parts utter delight." Join us for a literary thrill ride!

Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate
This novel is based on a real-life scandal, in which Georgia Tann, director of a Memphis-based adoption organization, kidnapped and sold poor children to wealthy families all over the country. People magazine called this book "a poignant, engrossing tale about sibling love and the toll of secrets."

News of the World by Paulette Jiles
We can't wait to hear your thoughts on News of the World by Paulette Jiles. This book transports readers to post-Civil War Texas, for an evocative tale that Kirkus called "lyrical and affecting."  Whether you consider it a Western, historical fiction, literary fiction, or all of the above, we hope you'll join us!
