    The Stoughton Area School district is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers and Substitute Educational Assistants to fill day-to-day vacancies during the school year.

    Located in south central Wisconsin, the Stoughton Area School District is an award-winning school system that consistently posts a higher graduation rate than many Dane County schools and has garnered national recognition for its educational practices. We offer three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and a virtual school through a consortium of other area school districts. At SASD, we are big enough to meet the needs of all students and small enough to personalize learning for all students.

    Pay Rate
    Substitute Teachers:  $155.00/day
    Substitute Educational Assistants: $14.00/hr

    Positon Requirement:
    • A current Wisconsin teaching license or substitute permit is required.
    • Candidates with a bachelor's degree and the ability to obtain a Wisconsin Subsitute permit will be considered.  (Learn how to from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction here.)
