Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a full-time Housekeeper working in Linen/Laundry. Inventories/manages clean linen supply room and clean linens supply rooms in all patient care areas and replenishes as necessary. Delivers and distributes bulk linen delivered by vendor. Clean assigned rooms and areas including rooms occupied by patients, visitors and healthcare providers. Wash and dry patient clothing for inpatient and outpatient as deemed necessary. Performs cleaning including trash pickup, dust mopping, vacuuming, mopping and sanitizing high touch surfaces. Cleans patient rooms, bathrooms, maintains restroom supplies, manages waste, spot cleans and dusts, cleans windows, spot cleans carpets, and cleans stairs and elevators.

Requires ability to read and write English and interpret measuring and hazard instructions on labels and able to maintain the challenging and physical demands of the job such as standing, walking, stooping, twisting, lifting, bending, pushing, and reaching. Must have basic computer competency skills. Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a healthcare setting is not required however it is desirable.

* Full-time, 40 hours per week, work Monday thru Friday, 7am-3:30pm and work every 3rd weekend and holiday.
