The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing supportive patient care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician in accordance with policies and procedures of the practice. This includes cleaning, sterilizing, and storing instruments in accordance with practice policies. Stocks rooms in preparation for the daily work schedule. Takes inventory of medical and exam room supplies.

This position is located at Stoughton Hospital.  No travel required.  

Qualifications include: High school Graduate or Equivalent. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Vocational Training Program. Requires previous experience in a healthcare setting. Prefer prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Must have current BLS certification and Non-violent crisis intervention training is required every two years on a rolling calendar. Basic Computer competency skills are also expected for this position.

*Full-time, Days, M-F, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 32 hours/week, 64 hours bi-weekly, no weekends or holidays.
