Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
The registered nurse position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in assigned units. The registered nurse maintains accountability for his/her own practice and delegates/provides direction to other nursing personnel in the unit in accordance with their level of experience and expertise.
Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing. Prefer someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. One year of professional nursing experience is required for the Emergency Department, prefer a minimum of 2 years of ER experience. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of WI in good standing. Must also have BLS certification upon hire. ACLS certification is required within 90 days of hire, PALS certification within 6 months. ENPC and TNCC certification is preferred. Non-violent crisis intervention training is required every two years on a rolling calendar. Basic computer competency skills are also required for this position.
*Full-time, Nights, 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., 36 hours/week, 72 hours bi-weekly, every 4th weekend and every 3rd holiday rotation.
