Surgical Services Leadership Opportunity

Stoughton Health is looking for a Surgical Services Manager to join our team. This candidate will demonstrate surgical clinical expertise coupled with strong leadership skills.

The candidate will have a safety and quality focus with involvement in process improvement designed to promote excellence in the Surgical Services setting. Further responsibilities will include staff development/competencies; assure compliance with AORN perioperative practice guidelines, compliance with JC/CMS/State regulations and standards; and maintenance of departmental policy and procedures.

Relationship and team building skills are imperative to the successful candidate to assure employee and physician engagement as well as patient satisfaction all reflected in our Press Ganey measurement process.

Qualifications Include: Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of WI in good standing, Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Ideal candidate will have 5 years of OR RN experience with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience and/or additional education preparation. Must have BLS certification and basic computer competency skills as well.

*Full-time, Days, Typical shifts of 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m./5:00 p.m., Salaried Position, minimum 40 hours/week, 24 hour accountability and occasionally on call.
