Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a Registrar to work in the hospital's Registration department. This position is responsible for accurately capturing and maintaining patient diagnosis, procedures, demographic, employment, emergency contact, guarantor and insurance information for patients admitted for inpatient and outpatient services at Stoughton Hospital. This position establishes hospital billing accounts, in order to accurately charge for the services that are rendered. This position interacts with many internal and external customers, and is responsible for creating a positive first impression of Stoughton Hospital. This position is also responsible for routing communications throughout the Hospital and Dean Clinics and for assisting with the traffic flow in visitor and patient reception areas.

Previous clerical experience is required. Clerical experience in a medical setting and previous Registrar/Switchboard experience is preferred. Also requires basic computer competency skills, intermediate Microsoft office suite skills, and High School graduate or equivalent.  Prefer post-secondary clerical course work.

* Part-time, PM and weekend shifts, 52 hours bi-weekly, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 4pm-10pm, and every other weekend 3pm-11pm
