DESCRIPTION:Acanthus Carving Class at Sons of Norway Lodge member Don Rorvig is teaching a Norwegian Acanthus wood carving class on Tuesday nights at Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge. The lodge is located at 317 South Page Street. The class is offered from 6:30 to 8pm. The first class on September 18 is free but after that\, it is $10.00 per class. Anyone interested can call Don at 235-3521 or contact via email at ragnar8@mailbag.com and he will inform them of the chisels necessary for the class. Don will provide a pattern that all first time students will be using. Classes will continue on each Tuesday through spring.
