DESCRIPTION:Day Trip to UW Geology Museum and Memorial Union Terrace Tuesday\, July 29\, 10:00 AM Departure Join us for a campus adventure without worrying about parking! The van will leave at 10:00 AM\, and we will go to the UW Geology Museum. If we have enough people\, we will have a guided tour\, otherwise we will explore the museum on our own. The tour will last about one hour\, then we will drive to Memorial Union Terrace for lunch and a beautiful view of Lake Mendota. Plan to return to the Senior Center around 2:30 PM. This trip will involve walking and standing\, and getting in and out of the van requires some steps. Stools are available for visitors to use within the museum if needed. The van and museum are free\, the Terrace has a $1 day fee if you are not already a member. The only other cost is lunch and what you choose to purchase. The van has limited seating\, so call to reserve your spot at 608-873-8585.
