The program will begin at 7:00 PM and will be held at Sons of Norway\, 317 South Page Street\, in Stoughton. The story of A & W in Stoughton begins in the mid 1940's with Harold and Frieda Chose. Many photographs capture the valued employees\, customers in their vintage cars and smiles expressing joy in the sugar-laden A & W root beer. The menu began on a small scale hot dogs and barbeques. Car hops memorized their orders. As the business expanded\, the root beer remained a favorite. We will focus on the changes over the decades.
