DESCRIPTION:Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge welcomes the public to a presentation on the Wisconsin History Center. The program will be held on Wednesday\, June 12\, 7:00 PM\, at Sons of Norway- 317 South Page Street in Stoughton. Christian W.  verland is the Ruth and Hartley Barker Director & CEO of the Wisconsin Historical Society\, which is considered one of the nation's finest historical institutions. Christian spearheads the Society's mission to connect people to the past by collecting\, preserving\, and sharing stories. Under his leadership\, the Society has energized public support for a world-class history center that is set to open in 2027 and currently in the design phase following recent approval from the State Building Commission. Christian will give a presentation on the Wisconsin Historical Society's History Center. The Wisconsin Historical Society is bringing a new\, 21st-century history center and cultural attraction to the people of Wisconsin and beyond. Refreshments will be served! Everyone is welcome and no reservations needed!\n\n\n\nPlease contact Darlene Arneson at arnesonfamily5@gmail.com or 608-873-7209 for more information. Mandt Lodge is handicapped accessible with a lift located on the south side of the building. There is parking on the street\, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center\, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed. We always encourage you to bring donations for the Stoughton Food Pantry! The public is always welcome at Mandt Lodge!
