DESCRIPTION:The Stoughton FFA Alumni & Supporters is sponsoring a bus trip to National Farm Toy Museum and National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium on Monday\, March 23\, 2026. The bus will leave from Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton at 8 AM and return around 6 PM. Registrations are due by March 15 or before the bus fills up! The trip is open to the public. The National Farm Toy Museum is a collection-based museum with two floors of displays based on agriculture equipment. Located in Dyersville\, Iowa\, home to the Ertl Company now TOMY\, Scale Models and SpecCast respectively\, earning our town moniker "The Farm Toy Capital of the World!" Learn more at www.nationalfarmtoymuseum.com.\n\n\n\nThe National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is operated by the Dubuque County Historical Society. Our focus blends the interpretation of the stories of Dubuque\, the county and the region with the history and role of rivers like the Mississippi. The main campus features three buildings\, the Diamond Jo National River Center\, Fred W. Woodward Freight House\, and the William Woodward Mississippi River Center\, connected by a walkway along Dubuque's historic Ice Harbor. Throughout campus and our Mathias Ham Historic Site\, National Rivers Hall of Fame\, and RiverWorks Discovery  program\, there are many ways to connect to stories of natural science and human innovation all influenced by our inland waterways. Your admission is for all free events but you can purchase movie or other tickets on-site. Learn more at www.rivermuseum.org.\n\n\n\nThere is a restaurant at this museum where you can get lunch on your own.\n\n\n\nThe cost is $50 for Stoughton FFA members (17 and under)\, $60 for Stoughton FFA Alumni & Supporter members\, and $70 for all others. The amount includes your bus ride\, admission to both museums\, tip for driver\, and snacks on the bus.\n\n\n\nAnyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult family member or chaperone. Reservations for the 56-passenger bus are on a first-come\, first serve basis and must be paid at the time of reserving a seat. Refunds will not be given unless you can find a substitute for your space. Snacks will be provided.\n\n\n\nWe will meet in the Christ Lutheran Church Parking Lot\, 700 County B\, Stoughton\, and will park your cars and load the bus there.
