Crystal Welsh\, who was on the MABA Parade of Homes committee spearheaded this even with Matt Heitmann in 2019 for the MABA. After much debate & review\, we discovered Stoughton\, WI of having the most unique\, single owned restaurants in one town. Naturally as a MABA Parade of Homes committee & as a MABA associate member\, we decided to host the pop up event here in Stoughton\, right outside of the entrance to the 2019 MABA Parade of Homes. We had 10 food vendors one pop & water stand\, one band all in the street\, welcoming Parade of Home 'goers' as they entered the houses. It was a day full of unknowns & turned out to be something bigger than we ever could have imagined. Now\, going on our 5th year\, we have grown to an event with all LOCAL bands\, food\, business vendors & community vendors. We truly wanted to give Stoughton & surrounding communities a "Taste of Stoughton". General admission is FREE & all Kid Zone activities are FREE! Through other non-profits located here in Stoughton\, days leading up to the event\, the day of event & tear down/clean up are all made possible through our volunteer groups! As part of the gratitude for helping making the day possible\, ALL proceeds go back to local non-profits in the community of Stoughton through their NP's volunteer hours! Bring your blankets\, chairs & kids to enjoy a day of local food\, drink\, music all while supporting the community! Officially a non-profit organization 501c3 Organization!
