DESCRIPTION:Please join Kathy Phillips\, BSN-RN\, and Jake Dunn\, LCSW from Stoughton Hospital as they discuss the use of technology to improve mental health. Kathy Phillips has been an RN for 40 years and a psychiatric nurse for the last 30 years. She has experience within a variety of psychiatric venues. Jake Dunn\, LCSW received his Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2005\, and later went on to receive his Master of Social Work degree from George Williams College of Aurora University in 2011. They will present about the use of virtual reality and mindfulness\, accessing online support groups and resource information\, and provide tips on managing stress as a caregiver or family member of someone dealing with mental health challenges.
