Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a Food Prep Assistant / Evening Charge Position to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is primarily responsible for patient meal tray delivery and dish room duties. They also learn to portion cold menu items for patient meals and assemble meal trays for patients. Additional duties include restocking supplies in the kitchen and café, café cash register and kitchen/cafe cleaning duties. Two days a week this position will be filling in for our full time P.M Charge position. When performing this task this position will be required to prepare, cook, and deliver meals for patients as well as supervising our P.M dietary operations. This position will also experience learning in all aspects of the kitchen once completely trained on their job duties, this includes working in our café, learning to cook patient meals and even catering hospital events. The Food Prep Assistant will be asked to Cross train on various shifts in order to help support departmental need.

This position requires basic reading and comprehension skills, basic computer competency skills and beginning Microsoft office suite skills. Prefer related experience and high school graduate or equivalent.

* Full-time, Days, 78-80 hours every 2 weeks, work weekdays 9am-5:30pm and 10am-5:30pm and work every other weekend.
* Full-time, 35 hours per week, 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and every other weekend.
