Certified Nursing Assistant - Geriatric Psychiatry
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for administering direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or other qualified staff. This position may also perform general clerical duties to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
Qualifications include: Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program, High school graduate or equivalent, must have current CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire, must be eligible for non-violent crisis intervention training – every two years on a rolling calendar. Minimum experience: Previous work in a healthcare setting (preferably in geriatric or psychiatric area).
* Full-time, PM weekday shifts of 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., 36 hours/week, 72 hours bi-weekly, every other weekend rotation; 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and every 3rd holiday rotation; 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
* Part-time, working one PM shift a week, 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. and every other weekend; 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., 40 hours bi-weekly.
* Part-time, PM's, 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., 20 hours/week, 40 hours bi-weekly, every other weekend rotation; 7 p.m. -11:30 p.m. and every 3rd holiday rotation; 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.Stoughton Health
