Stoughton Health is looking for someone to join our Surgical Services team on a part-time basis working as an Operating Room Assistant. Some of the job duties include, responding to room turnover requests, assists in the turnover of the operating room for surgery, including obtaining supplies and equipment and returning equipment and unused supplies at conclusion of the procedure, surface disinfection of specialty OR equipment, assists in obtaining and stocking equipment for subsequent cases, assists with patient transport, transfer and positioning as needed within the OR.

Qualifications include: High school graduate or equivalent, prefer someone with one year of previous medical experience in an acute care setting. This includes experience as a Surgical Services Aide, OR Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Central Sterile Tech. CNA certification is definitely a plus. Must also have BLS certification at hire, or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.

*Part-time, Days, working 6, 8 hour shifts in a pay period, 48 hours bi-weekly, every 3rd weekend on call.
