Stoughton Health has an exciting opportunity for a part-time registered nurse to join our Surgical Services team in the Post Anesthesia and Recovery Room. The registered nurse position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in assigned units. The registered nurse maintains accountability for his/her own practice and delegates/provides direction to other nursing personnel in the unit in accordance with their level of experience and expertise.  Under the direction of the department manager, provides care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.  

Qualifications include: Associate's Degree in Nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing in the State of WI. Prefer someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Requires one year critical care of PACU experience or supervisory recommendation.  Must have current BLS certification on hire, ACLS certification within 90 days of hire, PALS certification within 6 months. Non-violent crisis intervention training-every two years on rolling calendar.

*Part-time, Days, Monday - Friday, Typical shifts of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.., 24 hours/week, 48 hours bi-weekly, every 6th weekend and holiday on call.  Also, on call rotation one day/week.
