Stepping On Fall Prevention Class Tuesdays, September 14 ? October 26 from 1:30 ? 3:30 PM Stoughton Area Senior Center, Yahara Room One in four older adults has a fall each year according to the CDC. In just 7 weekly, 2-hour sessions, the Stepping On class gives participants strategies for avoiding falls including balance and strength exercises, home safety check suggestions, medication review, and more. The good news is that falls are not a normal part of aging and can be prevented. The Stepping On program, offered in Stoughton by the Stoughton Area Senior Center and Safe Communities of Madison-Dane County, has been researched and proven to reduce falls. Classes will be held Tuesdays, September 14 ? October 26, from 1:30PM ? 3:30PM. Call 608-873-8585 to register. Masks are required. Cost is $35.
