Join Sons of Norway Mandt Lodge for “A Day on the Prairie” on Saturday, August 19. We will leave from the lodge (317 South Page Street) in Stoughton at 12 noon. A traveling afternoon trip to the Koshkonong area to learn about the churches, the museum and the history of the immigration to that area. We can start the day at Stoughton’s Coffee Break Festival, Mandt Park, which begins at 9 AM. No registration needed but it will be helpful to have an estimate of how many might be joining us and if you need a ride! The schedule: 12:00 PM- Leave Sons of Norway Mandt Lodge for those who want to caravan over or who need a ride. Or you can drive right to the church and meet us there.

12:15 PM - Meet at West Koshkonong Church (1911 Koshkonong Road, Stoughton). Host – David Hanson. 1:30 PM- Leave West Koshkonong and travel over to East Koshkonong Churches (454 East Koshkonong Road, Cambridge). Stop at historic monument near the church before heading to Cambridge. Host- Larry Gunnelson. 3:00 PM- Leave for Koshkonong Prairie Historical Society Library and Museum & 1906 Cambridge School (211 South Street, Cambridge). Museum is on 2^nd floor with steps. No admission but donations are welcome! Host: Gary Swain and Dana Kelly. 5:00 PM- Travel back to Stoughton for bingo and/or meet for supper somewhere on the way home!
