Join us for the 12th annual Catfish River Music Festival: a beloved, free, family-friendly celebration of music, community, and culture in downtown Stoughton. Named for the historic Catfish River—the former name of the Yahara River that runs nearby—the festival brings together live music, local artisans, beverages and more, the festival creates a lively, all-ages atmosphere that draws thousands of visitors each year. Beyond the festivities, Catfish River is the primary fundraiser for the Stoughton Opera House Friends Association, helping sustain the Opera House as a vibrant cultural anchor for the community. Each year, festival-goers get a sneak peek at the upcoming season, as the Stoughton Opera House unveils its lineup during the weekend. By celebrating local talent, supporting arts, and connecting the community, Catfish River Music Festival is more than a weekend event—it’s a cherished Stoughton tradition that uplifts the entire community.
