What’s so special about an eclipse of the Sun? On the 21st of August there will be one that travels from coast to coast. Millions of people have already booked accommodations in the path to be able to witness it. The US will be the only country to witness this eclipse. This program takes a look at how an eclipse is made, the history of some of the most famous eclipses, and how to safely observe one. We will also take a look at the last time one was visible from here and when to expect the next one. Ralph Winrich is a former educator at a NASA research center. All ages (under age 9 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). No registration required.
