“An Evening as Ragna Tells Tales” Sons of Norway Mandt Lodge welcomes the public to our April meeting on Thursday, April 11, at 7:00 PM. Lodge member and storyteller, Laurie Barrett, will present “An Evening with Ragna”. Come meet Ragna, a Norwegian woman who lived in Sognefjord, Norway, in about the year 1050c.e. She tells tales of home, Christianity arriving to Sognefjord, a runaway bride, and stories from lands explored. Laurie Barrett holds a storytellers certificate from the International Storytellers Association. Everyone is welcome to come to our potluck too at 5:30 PM. Bring a dish-to-pass and the lodge will provide refreshments and tableware. We always have plenty of food so don’t worry if you don’t have time to make anything or aren’t able to, we’d love to have you join us! Please contact Darlene Arneson at arnesonfamily5@gmail.com or 608-873-7209 for more information. Mandt Lodge is handicapped accessible with a lift located on the south side of the building. There is parking on the street, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed. We always encourage you to bring donations for the Stoughton Food Pantry! The public is always welcome at Mandt Lodge!
