Uprooted by Naomi Novik (fantasy). Agnieszka lives in a picturesque valley near a corrupted forest. The evil of the forest is kept at bay only by a wizard who demands the sacrifice of a woman who must pledge to serve him for ten years. Another decade is almost up, and Agnieska fears the wizard will select her best friend--but he's not interested in her friend. Books will be available on the top floor display six weeks in advance.
