We are happy to share another story with you as told by Rasmus Sunde an author and expert in immigration from Sogn of Fjordane. This story is about a poor tenant farmer family from Sogn in the western part of Norway who became rich farmers, first in Minnesota and then in South Dakota. Rasmus Sunde is a Norwegian historian and author. He was born in Vik , the resident of Jølster and Balestrand. Sunde holds a PhD in migration history. He was associate professor at Høgskulen in Sogn og Fjordane , no. Høgskollen in Western Norway , from 1991 until he was retired in 2011. Sunde has written several books on migration history
