Norwegian immigrants began arriving in the Norway Grove vicinity in 1844. Over the next three years, many pioneers immigrated to the growing Norwegian-American community in Windsor and Vienna townships. This area near DeForest, Wisconsin, is now known as Norway Grove.
Jerry Paulson will be presenting a live talk about Norway Grove over Zoom and will be available for questions at the conclusion.
Local Norwegian-American artist, Katie Maurer, will also be creating a painting of the Norway Grove church which will be available in a silent auction held for a week leading up to the presentation.
