In October, our science fiction, fantasy, and horror book group will discuss Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger. Seventeen-year-old Elatsoe, a Lipan Apache girl, lives in an alternate America where monsters and magic exist. When her beloved cousin is murdered in a town that wants no prying eyes, she will use her skill at raising the ghosts of dead animals to uncover the truth.
