Pontoon Boat Ride on Lake Monona with Picnic Lunch

Departure Join us for a delightful day on Lake Monona! We will enjoy a picnic lunch at Tenney Park (box lunch of chicken salad wraps, fruit, cookie, and water provided by our Nutrition Coordinator, Kim).

After that we will board a Madison School and Community Recreation pontoon boat with just our party for a 1.5 hour tour of the lake! The pontoon is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate 14 people. Our passenger van can take 10 people, and 4 more can join if they drive themselves.

The passenger van is not wheelchair accessible, and does require a big step in and out. Please bring your own sun protection. $20 covers the lunch and the boat ride. The passenger van is free for those who sign up for it (first come, first serve). The Senior Center has a Friendship Fund available if the fee for the trip is an obstacle for attending.
