    Join Scott Holderer for?an exploration of the most?sublime of all art forms, grand opera.?Scott has worked for numerous opera companies including The Santa Fe Opera, Dallas Opera, San Francisco Opera, NY City Opera, Miami Opera, Palm Beach Opera, Opera/Columbus and Spoleto Opera, Spoleto, Italy. Scott discovered opera starting at age five in front of a twelve-inch black and white TV screen transfixed by the brilliant Powell/Pressberg/Sir Thomas Beecham film of Offenbach’s masterpiece, Tales of Hoffman. Come discover Madame Butterfly, to the Opera House on 42nd Street to a stellar production of Der Rosenkavalier. Eventually he will discuss the composers, the stories that inspired the librettos, and the importance of a given opera in its historic and cultural context.
