Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge will be showing “The Kings Choice” on Wednesday, January 9 at 7 PM. The lodge is located at 317 South Page Street in Stoughton. The movie lasts about 2 ¼ hours so we’ll have snacks available before and during the movie! When the German army invades Norway in April of 1940, King Haakon VII faces a decision that will change the course of his nation forever. Norway, which is officially a neutral country, lacks the firepower to repel the Nazi forces, and the Royal Family is forced to flee Oslo. Over the course of three days, the king must choose whether to surrender to the Nazi occupation or declare war on them, even if fighting could cost many Norwegian lives. No charge to attend. Please contact Darlene Arneson at firstname.lastname@example.org or 608-873-7209 for more information. Mandt Lodge is handicapped accessible with a lift located on the south side of the building. There is parking on the street, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed. We always encourage you to bring donations for the Stoughton Food Pantry! The public is always welcome at Mandt Lodge!
