Stoughton 175th Anniversary Banner Auction The Stoughton 175th Anniversary is a collaborative effort between the Stoughton Historical Society, Landmarks Commission, RDA, R Olde House Society, Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Stoughton celebrating Stoughton's heritage. The Stoughton Celebration Committee had banners made that have hung from Main Street during 2022 in downtown Stoughton. As the year ends, eighteen banners will be sold to help raise money for our permanent signage. The auction will run from 8:00 AM on Thursday, December 1, and ends at 4:00 PM on Friday, December 9. People can access the auction by visiting https://www.32auctions.com/stoughtoncelebrates175 The banners are 19" (w) x 36" (h), blue with white lettering and image, and depicting the foundation and history of Stoughton, the 175 logo embraces its roots in tobacco agriculture, wagon-making craftsmanship, and Norwegian art. When the auction concludes, winning bidders will pay the Stoughton Chamber. Banners must be picked up at the Stoughton Chamber Office at 532 East Main Street in Stoughton.
