Some music just stands the test of time, and it's in that place Distant Cuzins has found a home. They have dug in to music catalogs from the 70s, 80s, 90s, on through to today to create a high-energy trip through some of the best music ever made.

In 2015, the band was nominated for the Wisconsin Area Music Industry's WAMI Rising Star Award - one of seven musical groups in the state to be nominated. In addition, the band was runner-up for the 2015 Les Paul Launchpad award for best high school garage band in Wisconsin.
