The Last Cuentista by Donna Barba Higuera (sci-fi). When the Earth is destroyed by a comet, a young girl boards a ship to flee to a new planet. But when Petra Pena awakes, she discovers she is the only person on the ship who remembers Earth--everyone else has had their memory purged by the sinister Collective.
