Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a Full-Time EVS Technician who is detail-oriented and desires to be a part of a great infection prevention team. This position works independently cleaning outpatient areas. 

Unique Position Requirements:

• Perform cleaning of assigned rooms and areas - including rooms occupied by patients, visitors, and healthcare providers
• Communicate as needed with EVS managers and unit staff regarding patient needs.
• Perform cleaning that includes trash pick-up, dust mopping, vacuuming carpets, mopping of floors, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. After discharge of patients EVS tech is responsible for terminal cleaning of rooms and all floors, and surfaces (walls, vents, cabinets, drawers, trash cans, toilets, commodes, showers, etc.)
• Manages all non-regulated and regulated waste.
• Clean and disinfect lavatory fixtures throughout the facility on a routine basis.
• Maintain supplies in all restrooms in patient rooms and assigned areas including soap and paper for dispensers regularly.
• Spot clean carpets- and report floors needing more in-depth cleaning, stripping, and finish.
• Stairs and elevators.
• Report items needing repair to EVS manager or maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

* Full-time, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 80 hours bi-weekly, - Provide weekender relief when needed, work holidays as scheduled
