Exercise Physiologist
Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a Per-Diem basis in our Cardiac Rehab department.
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for supervising, monitoring and providing a safe exercise environment for Phase II/III Cardiac, SET for PAD, and Primary Prevention rehabilitation patients.Essential Functions:
- Provides appropriate evaluation for Phase 2 patients
- Identifies problems and develops individualized exercise prescription (ITP) in accordance with ACSM/AACVPR guidelines and physician recommendations.
- Ability to perform and accurately interpret resting and exercise EKG.
- Provide treatment based on the treatment plan.
- Educate patient and family regarding treatment plan and goals
- Coordination of care
Position Requirements:- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
- Certification: Current BLS certification. Prefer current ACLS certification.
- Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.
Work Shift:
- Per-Diem
- 2 shifts per month (if shifts are available)
