Experienced Sterile Processing Technician
Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Supply team on a Full-Time basis.
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and preparing instruments and equipment for all departments in the hospital.Position Requirements:
- Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Preferred: Post-secondary coursework in Sterile Processing skills
- Required Professional Experience: Prior experience as a hospital Sterile Processing Technician.
- Licensure: Sterile Processing Certification is required within one year of hire.
- Preferred Certification: Sterile Processing Certification upon hire.
- Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.
Work Shift:
- Full Time, 1.0 FTE
- 40 Hours Per Week
- 8 or 12-hour shifts
- Scheduled Days: Monday - Friday
- Scheduled Shift: 11:00 am - 7:30 pm OR 7:00 am - 7:30 pm
- Every 4th Weekend On-Call hours (Friday 4:00 pm to Monday 7:00 am)
- Every 4th Holiday On-Call
