Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Technologist - On Call Weekender to join our team. This position is responsible for aiding the professional nurse or physician in providing patient care to those patients requiring surgical procedures during the operative and immediate post-operative surgery. This position has the ability to demonstrate knowledge and competence specific to age of patient.

Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists. Prefer someone with post-secondary coursework in Central Service skills. One year experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred. Current BLS certification is required as well as basic computer competency skills are expected for this position. All Stoughton Hospital employees have e-mail access and many use a PC to send and retrieve work e-mail; reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
 

*Weekends On Call - Friday 3 pm to Monday 7 am, 64 hours per week. 

*Weekend On Call pay-  $10 per hour

*Weekend worked hours - 1 1/2 of base pay

*Base pay for any additional shifts 

*Four weekends off per year.*
